| La qualité des eaux de surface constitue périodiquement un sujet de controverse et de polémiques entre professionnels agricoles et conchylicoles charentais. Le débat reste centré sur la valorisation agricole des zones de marais littoraux. La création croissante d'îlots de culture drainés, souvent à proximité immédiate des zones conchylicoles, suscite l'inquiétude quant à la qualité des eaux d'aval. | In the context of the Water Framework Directive, the French Water Agencies were asked to justify exemptions, for disproportionate cost reasons, to the “good water” status in a series of river basins in 2015. The ministry of the Environment and the economists of the Water Agencies agreed on the fact that this justification would be based on cost-benefit analyses. A great number of cost-benefit analyses were carried out on water bodies or groups of water bodies. This article reports on this experience conducted by the French Water Agencies. | The Water European Framework Directive requires the implementation of programs to monitor the chemical quality of water bodies (freshwater, transition water and seawater), based on grab measurements of concentrations of various contaminants (metals, organic compounds). The results are limited by several analytical difficulties, and the poor representativity because of the temporal variability of contamination. | The report prepared up within the AQUAREF program for 2015 provides recommendations to ensure the quality of passive sampling monitoring data. This type of sampling method could in the future be used in regulatory monitoring, and it seems necessary to prepare the tools, procedure that will be able to ensure the reliability of such data. | Face à l’enjeu eutrophisation, le Réseau de Suivi Lagunaire (RSL) a été créé par la Région Languedoc-Roussillon, l’Agence de l’Eau Rhône-Méditerranée & Corse, l’Ifremer et le Cépralmar. Cet outil de suivi permet de diagnostiquer l’état des lagunes régionales vis-à-vis de l’eutrophisation et ainsi d’initier la mise en place d’actions et de mesures de gestion. Le suivi, commun à l'ensemble des lagunes de la région, permet de comparer annuellement l’état des lagunes.
